ANSWERS TO QUERIES. J. E. B., St. Louis, Mo. The wager on J. B. Robinson lost. A. .T. M., St. Louis, Mo. Proctor Knott was a running horse. J. .T. C, Chicago. There was no action and both bets were draws. W. D. B., Orlando, Fla. Have no knowledge of. the person or his location. C. E. AV., Chicago. The parlay won as a single show bet on John Louis, being void as to Tom Hay-ward. J. F. II., London, Out. In 1903 Rough Rider won the Toronto Autumn Cup at a mile and a quarter. Its net value to the winner was 5020. Louis S., Chicago. The parlay won, being a draw cn American Girl, because there was no separate place price and good as to the other horses. John R., Toronto, Ont. The backer of Tom Hay-ward separately lost. If he had been scratched his backer would have had a draw regardless of where liis stablemate finished. J. B.. Detroit, Mich. It is not possible to answer definitely, but a few years back J. B. Haggins holdings of thoroughbreds would probably have brought a million or more dollars at auction.
