NO CHANGE IN LAUREL SCHEDULE. II. D. Brown, manager of the Maryland Stato Fair Association, whose new track at Laurel, Mil., will open next month, wired Daily Racing Form from Laurel last night that there will be no deviation from the racing schedule previously announced for the new track. Mr. Browns telegram was sent for the purpose of correcting an erroneous impression conveyed by other newspaper publications to the effect that the Laurel meeting would be confined to the few days of October preceding and following the Pimlico meeting, which is scheduled for October 7 to 23. Mr. Browns telegram, which speaks for itself, is as follows: "Will race positively at Laurel from October 2 to October 31, Inclusive. The Jockey Club has granted us dates for the first live days and tho last seven days of the meeting. Racing will be conducted on the intervening days under the auspices of the State Fair and Horse Show. All contrary rumors are absolutely without foundation."
