TERNS TRICK REDUCES TRACK RECORD. Spokane, Wash., September 19. With an attendance that was up to the high-water mark, todays racing at Coeur dAlene was all that could be desired. Favorites and second choices held their own during the afternoon. Roy Selden made his appearance in the saddle for the first time since his nasty fall at Lagoon in the early summer. lie had another narrow escape as Descendant stumbled and fell with him on the backstretch. Fortunately the little fellow escaped injury. The live-furlongs sprint feature was won by Turns Trick in easy fashion from Pawhuska and Myles OConnell. The American record holder went out in front at once and won by himself. In a drive that lasted a quarter of a mile, Pawhuska outstayed Miles OConnell. The track record for the distance was reduced by four-fifths of a second.
