MARJORIE FLEMING showed much speed In pacemak-ing and finished gamely. HOMESICK was a forw ard contender all the way, but never dangerous, to MIO finished gamely. CHANGE OF AIR showed early speed. CANTEM led briefly and was taken back and saved in a good position, then wore the leaders down in the final eighth and won going away. SORROWFUL was bumped badly directly after the start and when she got into her stride closed a big gap and finished fast. BONNIE BARD ran into the lead on the backstretch and kept it to the stretch, but tired in the final furlong. CHIEF DESMOND closed a big gap in the last quarter. OSCURO finished well.
