AFFABLE hjou ran into the lead and showed much speed in pacemaking. but was much used in racing COMMONERS TOUCH into defeat and tired finally. 01.011 CHIEF ran an excellent race from a poor beginning and will do to remember. COONEY K. showed much speed and, after setting the pace nearly throughout, held on well in the final drive. BELLE CLEM dropped out in the :""-st quarter, then came on fast in the last furlong. KAUFMAN was shuffled back on the back stretch, but dosed up again and finished resolutely. GAY DECEIVER ran well and had no mishaps. SECONKE closed a big gap in the last half. FONT was shullled back in a jam on the first turn. Overweights May Amelia. 2i pounds.
