Some brilliant racers seeured membership in the 1911 list of thirty best moaey-winnlng horses five years eld and over. The fine tve-year-old Plate class tops this list with the comfortable total of 13,185 won and this son of Plaudit is distinctly a credit to his sire. Next was the much improved horse. Lawton Wiggins, with 10,285 to his credit. No other horse in this division earned as much as «UMRi, init the Hne Texas ! red mare. Meadow, was not far away with 0,286, quite an interval ahead of Sir John Johnsons U.G20. This last named veteran at times ran up to the noble measure of speed he was able to display at .ill times two years previously, hut was not always capable of doing so. giving token that he was on the down hill grade as a race horse. Such a fine example of singularly well preserved sliced as Priseillia.n could not gain a place in this list, despite seven races won in t row with no defeats. High Private. Araaee, Prince Gal, Guy Fisher. Enfield, Mary Itavis. Denham, Chapultepee, Angoras and Harrbran wore all good winner:, in the list and all horses credited with superior performances in siuke racing at oue time and another in previous years.
