March 8.— Henry Walbaak won the Stockmans Handicap today by going out in Unload and stealing so much ground in the early running that Meadow and Injury, the choices. could not overtake him in the stretch drive. Little Birdie, which ruled favorite throughout the betting. Mycenae, from the stable of Keene Brothers, won the third race ami enabled ••Heine" Radtke to win bis first race hero this season. Debutante stumbled in the first race and ■■seated jockey Callahan. She had been well backed at the opening of the betting. .1. Cuneo has bought Tim Judge from Henderson kVc Hogan for |500, and W. II. Fizer sold Sugar Lump today to B. H. Sebimth. General Bojas and his staff went to the Jwares track today and requested payment in advance of the license money that the association is required to pay daily. The request was complied with. Judge A. B. Fall of Louisville. Ky.. who has been visiting in New Mexico, was a guest of Stewards Price and Winn in the stand yesterday.
