ANOTHER MARYLAND TRACK SECOND RACE COURSE UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT HAVRE DE GRACE Promoters Expect to Have It Ready for Racing Over Overthe the Coming Fall Baltimore anil Local Capital in inControl Control Dates Sought from Jockey Club Baltimore Mil August 14 Work is being pushed forward on the second mill course at Havre de Grace Maryland where Hie Havre de Grace Agri tural and Mechanical Pair and Racing Association of liarford County contemplates conducting a race meeting this fall Apidication has not yet been made for dates This course will adjoin that of tlie new track of the liarford Agriculture and Breed Association now practically completes litit it is controlled entirely by Baltimore and local capital No expense will he spared to make the plant thor ¬ oughly modern in all of its appointments and the plans call for an establishment that will he one of MarylandCol the best III the State of Maryland Col II l Hanway is president of the association and union others who are identified with the project are Henry 15 Wolf and 1 Itoyster Stiller who is the attorney for the club clubThis This track is belli built on Hie main lino of the Pennsylvania Railroad and such train arrangements mil be made as will render it easy of access from Baltimore Washington and Philadelphia The course will be a full mile with broad turns and long stretches of ample width The grandstand will nave seating capacity for 4500 persons and the various buildings will lx constructed in accordance with modern and sanitary plans Application for dates will be made to the Jockey Club at New York
