KING EDWARD COURSE TO BE TRANSFORMED Montreal Que August 15 The second and final meeting of the King Edward Jockey Club will open at Isle Gros Bois on Saturday next The ofiicials will be the same as for the first meeting held last month Col T J Clay will be the presiding judge John Boden will be his associate Charles Campau will serve as clerk of the scales George C Dillon as racing secretary James Milton as starter and Dr O A Farley as paddock judge There are already over 100 horses at the course The King Edward Jockev Club has increased Its purses There will be throe each day of 400 and three of 300 xcept on Saturday when there will be four of 3 H The amount to be distributed in the seven days will be 15300 The club will build a mile track for next season and will apply for affiliation with the Canadian Racing Associations
