HORSES QUARTERED AT WINDSOR Detroit Mich August 15 Upwards of 100 horses have arrived at the Windsor track for the autumn meeting which will begin August 2G These early arrivals were shipped from Fort Erie for a rest of two weeks that they might bo freshened for the weeks campaign in which they will partici ¬ pate at tills point R J Mackenzies string is already on the ground and being tuned up for the appnwhing meeting ISnckhorn is in particularly good condition and will be a sure starter in the Ferry Handicap the feature of the opening day This recent purchase of Mrf Mackenzies baa been working threequarters In 114 and covered the mile route a few days ago in 140 The distance of the Ferrv Handicap one mile and a sixteenth is to the liking of Buekhorn while the colt can run well in any kind of gping Melton Sjreet is another of the Mackenzie horses that has been working well In the last few days This one will be seen in several of the handicaps to IKS run during the Windsor meet Ing Helen Barbee is Still another of the Mac ¬ kenzie string that Is going well in her work workJ J W Fullers string including Injury Dutch Rock and BlackEyedSusan are all working satis ¬ factorily at Windsor Injury will be Mr Fullers candidate for the Ferry Handicap This sixyear old son of Marchmont II has been doing well in recent workouts workoutsA A portion of E R Bradleys string is at Windsor getting ready for the coming meeting In the lot are the twoyearolds Ballyshe and Brookliehl BrookliehlThe The following horses will lie shipped here to con ¬ test in the Walkerville Steeplechase over the full course High Hat Prince Hampton Ringmaster Gun Cotton The Shaughrauu Parade St Abe The Welkin and Mutineer
