WIRE SERVICE TO BE RESTORED Lexington Ky August 15 Chairman Milton Young of the Kentucky State Racing Commission today confirmed the report that Alvln S Sllverman of Louisville will be chosen censor of telegrams on the Kentucky tracks this fall Mr Silverman was recommended by Commissioner Charles F Grainger of IMiferillc and his selection was made by corre bpondMice among members of the commission it being Impracticable to hold a meeting at this time Wires are to be run Into the tracks for use of newspapers as before tho commission put Its ban upon the telegraph The formal sanction of the commission was given this week through Secretary J P Jolmston Both Chairman Young and Sec ¬ retary Johnston are going away for a couple of weeks vacation beginning next week
