BLUE BONNETS PROGRAM BOOK OUT Montreal Qne August 15 The program book for tho fall meeting of the Montreal Jockey Club from September 7 to 11 inclusive is being distrihu ted Locally the books have met with the general approval of the horsemen The book is replete with races framed to favor nonwinners There are many horses on the Canadian circuit that have been running after the topnotclicrs for lie past few months and these races will be especially attractive to owners of such houses housesFifty Fifty races will be run during the Blue Bonnets meeting seven on each day except the closing Saturday for which eight have been carded Out of the fifty there aro eight stake events five jf them lioing open ones and well filled The others are for Canadianbred and owned horses one being the Kings Plate nnother the Provincial Nursery and the third the Earl of Derby Cup which is for horses owned In Canada previous to August 1 Thi owners of steeplechasers are well catered to There will be at least one event through the field each day wlcile on the Hosing dty there will be two The stakes through the field carry 1000 added in the case of the Strathcona and 1200 in the Hen drie Memorial There are twentysix nominations In the Strathcona which will add 2 iO more to Up ¬ value of it without the additional fee of 15 for starters In the Ilendrie Memorial there an twentyseven entries which means the addition of 270 to the idileil money without the additional 15 to start This will make the Strathcona worth close to 1200 to the winner 200 to the second horse and 100 to the third The Ilendrie Memorial will be worth close to 1200 to the winner 250 to the second horse and 125 to the third The over ¬ night purses through the field are of the value of GOO and 700 added addedThe The going at IUue Bonnets was never l ctler than it will l o this fall which is shown by the work of the Provincebred twoyearolds that are being schooled for the Nursery Stakes They aro working dashes of three furlongs in better than 3S which is record time for these horses
