MRS LIVINGSTON ABANDONS CANADA Hamilton Out August 15 Owing to the dis ¬ couraging conditions that Mrs L A Livingston has met with in her attempt to breed thoroughbreds n Canada she has decided to abandon her efforts in that direction She purchased a splendid farm nt Cobourg a couple of years ago and shortly after tho Canadian Northern Railroad cut through the best part of it directly behind the barns separating them from the paddocks She then secured another farm on the lake front where new stables were built and a race track laid out The Canadian Pacific con ¬ templates going through this place which means that it too will be ruined for the purpose intended The stallions and mares that Mrs Livingston brought to Canada will probably be shipped back to the Rancocas Stud in New Jersey Today she disposed of all her Canadianbred yearlings to W Martin Included in the lot are the get of Armeath II Ildrum Locohatchee and Bowling Brook She had several offers for various individuals but preferred lo sell the lot collectively
