GOOD HORSES IN INAUGURAL HANDICAP. Latonia, Ky., April 8. — Manager John Hach-meister has just made public the list of nominations in the Inaugural Handicap, which will, as usual, be run on the opening day of the summer meeting at this course, which begins on Wednesday. June 14, and continues for a racing period of twenty -four days, coming to a close on Tuesday, July 11. This is one of the feature races at Latonia and ranks in imi ortancp with the handicaps for all ages which are set to be. decided on various tracks throughout the country. Latonia has always had a great summer racing season and more, in particular, since the track has been turned over to the present management. Of course, the great feature at Latonia is the Derby. Another great race at I„*itonia is the Cincinnati Trophy, which last year and the same this year, will be the richest race for two-year-olds run on the Kentucky circuit tracks. The other stake races at Latonia are the Independence Handicap, with ,500 added, the Clipsetta and Harold Stakes, and the Quickstep Handicap, each with ,000 added: the Merchants and Valuation Stakes, each with ,500 added. The stakes at Latonia this year alone have an ad led value of 7,500. and on the average, and in fact in every instance, have filled better than the stakes on any of the other Kentucky tracks. The entries in full in the Inaugural Handicap are given below. This event was first run in 1913. and Gowell won, while in 1914 Belloc got home iu front. Last year it fell to Prince Dennis, which is also among the nominations for the stake this year. Among the sixty-eight entries this year is H. P.
