HUDAS BROTHER, after racing well up to the stretch, raced to the front with a rush and drew away into a long lead to win pulling up. BENDEL held a brief lead and raced well up to the stretch, then tired. PROTAGORAS finished with a rush. VIDET fell at the three-eighths post. RICHARD LANGDON also stumbled and fell. BRANDYWINE raced well, but was on the inside in deep going all the way and pulled up lame. PARLOR BOY closed a gap. The others were always outrun. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. The latter raced under restraint for the first three-quarters and took the lead, but was unabl? to withstand the winners challenge. ILLUMINATOR set the pace on sufferance and quit in the stretch.
