DEATH OF FORMER OWNER OF GOOD HORSES. New York. May 3— After an illness of three weeks duration. William II. Dubois, widely known on the race tracks of the country from coast to coast, died yesterday at his home at Jamaica. Leaf, Island, of pneumonia. While in New Orleans last winter he suffered from an attack of this dis-ease and was rushed north in a special car in February. Subsequently he suffered a relapse. He was the owner of a pretentious racing stable several years ago. including such noted horses as Charles Edward and Neahm. He was born in Williamsburg. January 16. 1S60. Early in life he traveled with the Barnum and Bailey circus as a tumbler. Burial will be in the GlenwooU cemetery, Long Branch, i j, tomorrow . .
