CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. There will be racing at King Edward Park, at Monireal. this year, but the dates have not yet been selected by Manager Sam Holnian. The receipt of additional entries, mailed from distant points, brings the total number of nominations for the two-day spring meeting of the Inited Hants Kacing Association, to be held at Belmont Park Terminal on May 13 and 17, up to 289, or an average of better than twenty-two entries for each of the thirteen events of the two-day program. The loss of the filly Dreamsome was a severe one to Mr. J. Hal Woodford, the well-known breeder and owner of Paris. Ky. While being exercised on the Lexington track she stumbled, fell and broke her shoulder and had to be destroyed. She was highly regarded and every effort was made to save her for breeding puri»oses. The filly was insured in the ••Hartford" and John A. Payne. the Geaeral Agent, of Cincinnati, delivered a check to Mr. Woodford Thursday morning. The well-known horseman. Koland C. Drake, is the track representative of the "Hartford" at Lexington. — Adv.
