MILES FINLEN was forced back at the start and, closing a great gap. ran an excellent race. TOM MANSON ran well. RHYME tired right at the end. OAKAVOOD BOY quit badly. JANE STRAITH saved considerable ground when coming into the stretch and was going well at the end. DELIAER only raced fairly well. BLANCHITA quit. RAPIDS closed a good gap.
