MOTHER MACHREE gained steadily and drew out clear when called on in the homestretch to win with speed in reserve. KENTUCKY P.OY, away slowly and forced to race wide throughout, finished gamely and outstayed OLD DRURY. The latter ran forwardly for the entire way, but tired in the closing strides.
