NOTES OF THE TURF FROM OTHER XAHDS. Sunbnr has been purchased privately from Sir Robert Jardine on behalf of S. J. 1,nzue, and the horse left Newmarket recently en route for Buenos Ayrcs in charge of AV. "Ware. Excellent entries have been secured for the Leicestershire Oaks, in the Leicester Summer program for 1118, and also for the County Foal Stakes, in the autumn program. For the former seveutr-seven subscribers wen; obtained and for the Foal Stakes the entries number 111. Admiral Hawke brother to Pretty Polly, by Cnllinult Admiration, is a successful sire in Germany. At Iterlin Gruenewald a week or so back two "of his get were successful on one afternoon. The Dark Ronald Renneii, ,375, at three-quarters, was wen hv his two-year-old son Hawkemar. in a field of ten, and the Summer Rennen, ,S50, at five-eighths, also for two-year-olds, was secured by his son, lcriad. The latest issue to hand of "EI Jockey," the official organ of the Buenos Aires Jockey Club, contains the entry for the Gran Premio Carlos Pelegrini. a weight-for-age race one mile and seven-eighths, worth 50,000 pesos. No fewer than 127 horses have been nominated. Among them are five of the first seven winning horses of the year, inclusive of the first, second and third Canora. i Arenales, Dijital also Melik, which is fifth, and Dundalo, the seventh on the list.
