NEW YORK STABLES OFF FOR LAUREL. Now York, September 2S. Several stables which have remained in this section for the opening of the Laurel meeting and for participation in the different hunt meetings, will depart for the Maryland State Fair track tomorrow. J. P. Mayberry will ship seven horses of the George . Johnson stable to Laurel and in the same car Jerry Carroll will ship four belonging to W. It. Coe, including Hauberk and the good two-year-old Jack Mount. J. Ityers and Jules Garson will take a carload Laurel. , . . . ., Jockey Roscoe Troxler is among the latest of the riding delegation to announce an intention of riding at Tijuana next winter. The layers of odds are taking an enforced vacation at present, the mutuels at the Maryland tracks precluding their operating at those courses. However, they will soon be on the move again some going to Tijuana and quite a few to New-Orleans. , , . T. J. Donohne will ship the steeplechasers under his care, belonging to II. W. Sage U Laurel about two weeks. They include Martian, Pebeto and Ormeade. Leo Mayer will go to New Orleans this winter if the racing situation there clears. . li f J ,r to 0 c II " r in " 0
