BEN HAMISON came from far back in the last quarter. QITIN set a good pace, but tired in the last eighth. APPLE JACK quit. COUNTY COURT ran a good half. MILESTONE dwelt at the start, but moved up with a rush into the lead in the stretch, but tired slightly right at the end. BOB HENSLEY was taken back in the lirst quarter and lost ground by coming wide into the stretch, but finished fastest of all. 1OCKICIIOO dropped out of contention at the half-mile.
