FIZER STRING ARRIVES AT NEW ORLEANS. New Orleans. La., November 25. Additions of horses, turfmen and racing followers were numerous again today. The newcomers included the horses of W. II. Fizer, W. Hurley and L. Calm. They came from Latonia. Few traces of the recent mammoth fair remain, and the next twenty-four hours will find the remaining vestiges removed and the work of putting the course and plant in thorough racing order will start. E T. Coltons band of six racers are due tomorrow from Bowie. The advance guard from that point will be on their way hero next Monday. There were a number of departures today by steamer for Havana for the racing there, including II. D. Brown, Jr., wife and son, Charlton Elrod and family. S. P. Barnard, Fred Meltor, Stony Abrams and wife, jockey R. Small, Glen Stevens. Frank J. Bruen, wife and son, and Frank M. Kelly. The latter has been engaged to act as track superintendent at Oriental Park. Glen Stevens shipped two horses to be raced at the Havana track.
