Won driving; second and third the same. ANNA LOU took the lead and raced head and head with MURIELS PET to the stretch and gamely ontstaved PLUME. The latter closed a gap on the stretch turn and finished overhauling the winner. MURIELS PET ran a good race. MANDADEKO tired. THE MAJORS DAUGHTER ran off one mile when going to the post. SIGNORETTE was badly outpaced to the stretch and shut off when passing the paddock, but finished fast and probably was best. PERSEVERE set a fast pace and tired in the final drive. ROY raced gamely and well and made a fast finish. JOHN LOUIS: ran a good race and finished resolutely. ZAMLOCH showed improvement and set the pace to the far turn, then tired. The others were always outpaced. The winner was entered for 200; no bid.
