NIGHT RACING LEGALIZED IN QUEBEC. Montreal. Que.. Nov. 25. The National Jockey Club, Limited, of Montreal, was yesterday granted letters patent, amongst other things, to race and train horses, to hold races said races to take place after S oclock in the evening only, to run book-making stands, pari-mutuels, etc., by the Quebec legislature. Another strange part of the National Jockey Clubs bill is that it states that the capital stock is to be fixed at 9,900, which in some mysterious manner is to be divided into 499 shares of 100 each. The sum of 500 has been subscribed to the capital stock of the company.
