Among the horses sold at the Newmarket December sales were five foals, three colts and two fillies, of excellent breeding, which were recorded as having been bought by "Mr. Coe." Presumably they were bought by our W. R. Coe and will find their way to this country presently. The five, their pedigrees and prices, are as follows: Chestnut filly foal by Charles ,0Mallcy Naughty Jill ,444 Bay colt foal by Simon Square Sissie Ida .. 2,184 Bay colt foal by Sunflower II.
