PRIVET PETAL RESUMES WINNING WAYS. Wednesdays to he Tijuana Off Days Beginning Next Week Track Improving. Tijuana, Mex., December 2S. Privet Petal showed that he was an even better horse in the mud than on a dry track, when be defeated a good band of selling platers in the feature race here today. The brown gelding took little time in getting into action and when his rider was ready, raced into a good lead, which he retained to the end. Custom House was second and Blanehita third. Ada Anne was an easy winner of the third race, after rushing quickly to the front today, which i is unusual for her, and withstood several challenges with apparent ense. California Jack and Ancestors accounted for their races. The track was fairly solid in spots today and will probably be in good condition by tomorrow. President J. W. Cof froth has announced that beginning with next week, Wednesday will be the off-day each week instead of Monday.
