CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. Price McKinney of the firm of Corrigan and Mc-Kinney, owners of the Wickliffe Stable, has not been in the liest of health for some time and is contemplating an extended cruise on his yacht Cypress, touching at Havana and South American ports, with the hoi e of recovering his health. Many members of the Western Fruit Jobbers Association are witnessing horse racing for the first time at the Fair Grounds, and they are intensely interested in it. One delegate to the convention remarked yesterday that if the local meeting can be taken as a criterion, it is little wonder that there are so many people in California who want Ihe "sport of kings" resumed there. — New Orleans Times -Picayune. J. L. Hiley, a jockey ruled off at the old Ascot track a number of years ago. was recently reinstated by the Pacific Jockey Club, according to a Mire received by L. J. Rose, associate-judge at Tijuana from Henry Ach at Frisco. Riley is a well-to-do grown-up person now and will probably purchase a stable of good horses to ruce.
