GREAT CROWD VIEWS HAVANA RACES. Murphy Wins the Feature Contest Easily in Which Droll Runs Unplaced. Havana. Cuba, Feb. 4. — I. M. Hedricks Murphy scored another easy victory when he beat Marianao by a length in the feature of the program, a dash of three-quarters, for which Droll was an odd- on favorite. The races were witnessed by the largest gathering that ever turned out at the track, close to 10,000 persons being present. Previous to the races there was a baseball game between the Orientals and Red Sox, in which the latter won by a score of 9 to 5. The weather was ideal, a large number of tourists were among those present. Starter Miltons assistant. Frank McGinty, sent the horses away from the barrier in the first three races, while Mr. Milton acted at the barrier in the last four. W. F. Schulte claimed Euver Bey for 25.
