HAVANA FEATURE TO HEDRICK ENTRY. Runs One. Two, in Cicnfuegos Handicap—" Father" Bill Daly Wins a Purse — Track Lumpy. Havana. Cuba. February 10. — The Hedrick entry. Shooting Star and Ninety Simplex, finished one. two. in the Cicnfuogos Handicap, todays feature at Oriental Park. They were heavily backed at even money and the first named won in a canter. five lengths separating him from his stable com-panfon. Yorkville showed keen speed for three-eighths, then retired ladly lx-aten at the finish. The raced were run over a lumpy, slow track, and several of the winners had bag margins to -pare at the finish. The best contest of the afternoon came with the running of the first race, in which the Cuban-owned Marblehead beat Little Wonder by a neck. "Father" Bill Daly gathered another purse with the Ethelbert colt. Fonctionnairc. which won the fifth race from the odds -on favorite. Jesse Jr. Previous to the races the Oriental baseball team defeated the White Sox in a twelve inning game by a score of | to 2. Among the arrivals today was L. P. Carraro of Cincinnati, who will remain a couple of weeks taking in the races. Fd Garrison, winner of the third race, was bid up from 00 to SI .105 by I". S. Wishanl. owner of Old Man Crit, which finished second, but was retained. Frank Moore was all arrival from New Orleans. Jockey Boaraa was fined 5 and suspended for five days for tough riding iu the sixth race Friday.
