LEXINGTONS SALE OF THOROUGHBREDS. Tin- first thoroughbred sale of the year is scheduled to take place at Lexington on Tuesday. May Bib, during the spring race- meeting at that point. The most notable consignment to be sold is the closing out of the two-year-olds belonging to the estate of Francis J. Pons. These are the progeny of Tony Bonero and Judge Wright and number eight head, all of which have been in training nnd arc ready to face the barrier. Several of them are highly tried and, if they show up in races as others by Tony Bonero have done, all will be returnt-d winners. Judge Wright has not yet sent any representatives to the post, but bis two two-year-olds in this collection have shown to be speedy. Other horses in training are also included in the e-atalogiie, which is ready for distribution, as well as a number of yearlings, the get of such sires as Star Shoot, McGee, Burgomaster, Stalwart, Astronomer. Hurst Park, etc. The sale will be held in the evening at Tatter-sails and the offerings will be quartered there in advance of the sale, so that they may be looked over by prospective buyers.
