FAST MILES AT LEXINGTON TRACK. Lexington. Ky., April 20. — Trainers at the Kentucky Association course are now sending their charges over the mile route at a fast clip. Jefferson Livingstons three-year-old filly Diamond was sent a mile in 1:41%. going the quarter in 24, half in 48»f,, three-quarters in 1:15. This filly is ready for a bruising race. Colonel Yeniiie. in the same stable, worked a mile in even faster time, running the quarter in 22r,. half in 4877,. three-quarters in 1:13. seven-eighths in 1:25 and the mile in 1:41%. It will take a fast horse to beat this four-year-old. Other good work-outs at a mile were Auriga, 1:411; Howdy Howdy. 1:42%: Rifle Shooter, 1:43%; Daddys Choice, 1:44%: Jane Straith. 1:43%; Dorothy Dean. l:44xi Faux-Col, 1:44%, and Man-is ter Toi. 1:44.
