This filly is by Roi Herode — ■Yahreii which means quest, by Bona Vista. S. C. Hildreth has no intention of starting any of the Belmont string before the beginning of the racing on Long Island. With the exception of the comparatively few thoroughbreds now stationed at Belmont Park, which are intended to race on the Maryland circuit, the horses at the big track are not in forward condition, although most of them should be ready to begin the campaign of 1917 with the opening of the Jamaica meeting. The Horsemens Association will most likely make an application to the Canadian Racing Associations at an early date to have a representative iu the stands at all tracks. Their contention is that they will then be in possession, first -handed, of the desired information in regard to members of their association, wdio are disciplined. At the present time horsemen are ruled off and no cause announced, which the association does not consider British fair play. — Toronto Star. He lias lteen an eighth in 12% already this season at DufTerin Park and Raveneourt a half in 55. Judge Perry is a promising colt and put in a quarter in 24 at the Woodbine track as a yearling last falL
