Bill Livingston Captures His Race — Fourteen Starters in the Crickmorc Steeplechase Get Over the Obstacles Safely with Bryndor the Winner Pimlieo. Md., Hay 5. -The Pladtee Nursery, one of the annual fixtures of the soring meetings of the Maryland Jockey Club, was the featuiv race offered at the hilltop track this afternoon and. despite most disagrvable weather, an immense gathering turned out to witness the running of the race. There were eight starters and Leata Carth furnished the winner in Dr. J. P. Jones Virginia Yell, which came from behead with a great stret-h rush and got up in time to beat Qakladt out by a head. The latter was favorite for the race and was heavily supported. Qatetade showed u fine turn of speeil in racing Perigourdine into defeat and drawing away after entering the homestretch. When it came to the finish. Ambrose outrode .1. P. Ryan. With the riders reversed, the Morris filly would have won.
