COBRITA began slowly and was outrun early, but wore the tiring leaders down and outgamcd LITTLE SWEEPER to win going away. The latter was a forward contender all the way and finished gamely. SAIANZA closed a big gap and finished with a rush through the last eighth. HASTY MABEL raced wide all the way. FOXS CHOICE set a good pace, but failed to stay. Overweights Red Salmon. 2 pounds. CRUMPSALL took the lead quickly and, setting a fast pace all the way, withstood a challenge from LAZY LOU at the eighth post. The latter ran. a good race, but tired after getting to the leader.
