CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. W. O. Stone claimed Sordello after his victory at Dufterin Park Wednesday for 00. F. R. Hitchcock had eight yearlings in the band which arrived last Monday from France. R. T. Wilsons Campfire is showing up well in bis work at Belmont Park and is fit for a race. R. H. Hall lias purchased the gelding Minstrel from R. Burkley at private sale. Minstrel is racing at DuiTerin Park. Fred Burlew and Mrs. Bnrlcw were among the arrivals on the Mongolian Monday from France, Mr. Burlew having charge of the Mackey youngsters included in the big shipment from abroad. Omar Khayyam, the Kentucky Derby winner, worked a mile over the Aqueduct track Tuesday in 1:40, going the half in 4S and the three-quarters in 1:14. The colt is carded as a starter in the Prospect Handicap at Aqueduct today.
