Square Set worked five-eighths ia 1:03 over the Fair Grounds track a few days ago and is ill prime condition for a bruising race. Zamlochs days as a racer are numbered. Matheny at Neyv Orleans, may not be seen under colors again. Tiie colt lias shelly feet and came out of his recent races in bad condition. . Jockey Merritt Buxton, who arrived in New Orleans several days ago, will not accept mounts until the Fair Grounds meeting opens on Nev Years day. Ruxton will ride for W, C. Clancy. A. L.
