ULTIMA THULE PROMISING YOUNG COLT At the dispersal sale of the Wiekliffe Stable at Lexington, on January 15, there will be offered a cult which undoubtedly will be eagerly sought after by turfmen anxious to secure a high-class three-year-old for racing next year. The colt referred to is he now two-year-old Ultima Tliule, by Ultimas Rubin Granda. Ultima Thule won over ,000 during the present year, one of his victories being In the Wakefield Handicap at Empire City, in which he met and defeated such good ones as Papp, Top Coat, Matinee Idol, Starry Runner and Jas. T. Clark. Good judges of horseflesh predict that this youngster will develop into a high grade three-year-old. With many rich stakes to be won during 1018, a colt of such promise is a desired acquisition to any stable. and
