The star of the stable was Kewessa, winner of the Paumonok Handicap at Jamaica, and the Fleetwing Handicap at Empire City. Kewessa earned ,910. Judge Wingfields winnings were given a substantial boost by his victory in the Pimlico Autumn Selling Stakes at Pimlico. He also finished third in the Woodstock Plate at Toronto. The Remainder of the stable winnings2u is credited to- the account of Rilly Oliver, which was named for the stables owner. This signal honor apparently was not an incentive to accomplish great things, as Rilly Oliver failed to finish first in one of the nineteen races in which he was a competitor. The money credited to him is the result of two seconds and two thirds. Carbide and Harper, two other horses in the Oliver stable, did not start during the year.
