Rody Pat tin sou has left Louisville for Belmont Park to train the horses of Robert L. Gerry. Walter Scofield is the new trainer of the Kev- stone Stable, taking the place vacated by Rody Patterson. Edward McBrides three year-old Charlie Ley- decker won l*»th of his starts at Bowie and ap- pears to have improved considerably during the winter. Sid C Keener and Fannie Mehan, both winners at Bowie and both of them cheap yearlings, are. obviously, two-year-olds of better than average quality. Julius Reedcr. assistant to Secretary J. B. Campbell of the I/iuisville and Latonia tracks, has ar. rived at Louisville from Hot Spriugs. From the same point Thomas Tooher has also just arrived. Revnolds. a two-year-old in the Thomas Clyde Stable, which has not as yet faced the barrier, is reported to lie a good one. He is said to be faster than either Mahony. Dunedin or Wewoka. which carried the Clyde colors to victory at Bowie. J. W. Schorrs Derby candidate Jas. T. Clark worked a mile in 1:40% at Douglas Park Saturday morning. The colt is showing great improvement over the form he displayed at New Orleans and Hot Springs and will be given a race or two at Lexington.
