GARRISON TO PURCHASE NEW STABLE New York, April 15. — C. M. Garrison, owner of I the Calumet Stable, who lost his entire string of racers in the tire that destroyed a stable at the Bowie race track last week, has begun the work of getting together another stable of thoroughbreds. Mr. Garrison, who was in this city when he heard I of his loss, at once opened negotiations with Grant Hugh Browne for the pun base or several horses, among them King Herod. Ed Cudihee and Josolina i Zarate. It is likely he will add others before the . seasou is far advanced.
