SUN BRIAR IN LATONIA DERBY Belated Entries Show Crack Colt Entered in La-tonias Chief Race, Also in Kentucky Handicap. Cincinnati. .. April 15.— It turns out that Willis Sharp Kilmers Sun Briar has been nominated both for the I-atonia Derby and the Kentucky Handicap, two 0,000 added events, to be run at Latonia and Douglas Park, respectively, during the approaching season of spring racing in Kentucky. When the nominations for these two rich races were recently announced, there was general regret among turf enthusiasts that Sun Briars name was missing, inasmuch as nearly all of the other star racers hail been named for both of these big races. When General Manager John Hachmeister of the Latonia and Douglas Park tracks returned from a brief vacation trip to Florida a few days ago. he brought with him the nominations of Sun Briar for the Latonia Derby, the Kentucky Handicap and other stakes to be run at Latonia and Douglas Park, in addition to other nominations from the Kilmer stable for other stakes at the two tracks named. These nominations had been forwarded to Mr. Hachmeister in Florida by his representatives in Kentucky, under the impression that they were mail of a private character, there being nothing on the envelo|Hs iu which they wen- enclosed to indicate that they were stake nominations. After the publication of what purported to be a list of the nominations for the two big races in question, additional entries were received that had been mailed in time, but which had been belated in the mails through the operation of the censorship on matter coming from Cuba and for other reasons. The revised and complete list of the nominations for the Iatonia Derby is made up of the following: Anriim Freecutter Ocean Sweep Ameiicau Gipsy Queen Plum Arrah Go On Gibby Papp American Eagle Happy Thought Peerless One Big Enough Hol.inger Rahti Bubbling Louder Herald Rubber II.
