NEWS FROM THE BLUE GRASS FARMS LEXINGTON, Ky... February 7. John E. Sladden today shipped to trainer William Jennings at Baltimore a couple of two-year-olds recently sold to C. SI. Garrison of New York, owner of the Calumet Stable. One was the brown filly Sub Rosa, by Disguise Kinrose, and the other was the chestnut colt by Star Shoot Pedigree, by Ogtlen. Norman L. Zeno. secretary to R. T. Wilson, returned to ew York this morning after having made his periodical visit to Kirklevington Farm. He stated that lie found all of Sir. Wilsons thoroughbreds .in excellent condition. Samuel C. Nuckols, Jr., secretary of the Kentucky State Racing Commission, has recovered from a .severe illness. Sumptuous, by Fatherless, has a bay filly by Wrack at A. B. Hancocks Claiborne Stud. Slessrs. Talbott Brothers. W. V. Thraves, Charlton Clay, K. P. Prichard, S. K. Nichols and A. B. Hancock have booked mares to Clarence H. Slacknys stallion Spanish Prince. v
