MRS DURYEAS BAND OF YEARLINGS NEW YORK N Y June 20 Mrs Duryea in referring to her thoroughbreds at Haras du Gazon aid she had thirty fine yearlings this season and regards them as an uncommonly fine band but will not export them from France Her principal sires are Sweeper Irisa Iad and Durbar All of these sires have fine representatives but Xunas yearling is by Irish Lad anil therefore he is but a half brother to Golden Broom which was by Sweeper Xuna It will be remembered that this Sweeper Ziina colt was generally conceded to be tlie best yearling Hold at Saratoga last August and he also was the highest priced one Mrs AValter M Jef ¬ fords buying him for 15000 after a spirited com ¬ petition witJi P A Clark who made tlio next to last bid on the colt Mrs Duryea says that this son of Irish Ixid Xnna is another grand looking in ¬ dividual and she is expecting great things of him but at the same time there lire many of the thirty yearlings of this season which are well worthy to rank right along with him
