LOVERS LANE II. set the early pace fast and tired. FLAREUP ran well. FLYING ORB tired after closing a gap and getting to the leaders. SUGARMINT was forced extremely wide on the stretch turn. The latter was crowded back in the early running and closed up with a rush through the last eighth. TROPHY ran well and, finishing g:yncly under punishment, outstayed NIGHTSTICK in the final drive. LORD BRIGHTON, after racing in close pursuit of ENFILADE, responded gamely under hard riding and got up to win in the final strides. ENFILADE began quickly and set a fast early pace, but was tiring at the end. HOLLISTER gained steadily on the inside and outstayed OLD ROSEBUD. The latter had no mishaps and ran a good race. JOCK SCOT met with interference at the start. SEN-N1NGS PARK began slowly and was always badly beaten. Scratched J3093Star Master, 129; 4372G Toto, 100; 43755 Ticklish, 102.
