INCREASE IN FRENCH TURF PRIZES The French "Comite des Courses" at its last sitting decided to increase next years racing budget to ,100,100, or 2,000,000 more than allocated originally in 1914. This iias been made possible by the increased gate receipts and the tax on the pari-mutucl. International events are to benefit particularly, and breeders premiums are to be increased.
