DOGS ENJOY FISHING WITH MASTERS A Scottish angler owns a doz that retrieves artificial flies from bushes by swimming across tin? stream and bringing back the twig in which the fly is caught. This intelligent anglers friend thoroughlv enjoys recovering his masters flies. Still another fishing log, a black retriever, the constant companion of Sir Thomas Wardle, retrieves trout and grayling from the Dove. The angler brings his- fish up to the bank and the dog drops quietly into the water, looks for the fish and carefully retrieves it. Another fisherman lias an Irish terrier which would sit close to the water in a pond, watch the little perch that came to the bank to feed, and try to catch them with his paw. An English cat actually catches small fisli from the sheathing of a lock by spearing them with her claws.
