FORT ERIES GREATEST MEETING LARGEST CROWDS IN HISTORY OF NIAGARA RACING ASSOCIATIONS COURSE SEE SIR BARTON BONIFACE, THE PORTER AND OTHER STAR S IN COMPETITION Popular and successful as have been tho race meetings at the Fort Erie track in years gone by, none attracted as much interest nor developed better racing than the second meeting; of 1920, which closed August 18. Persuing tho general present-day policy of increasing its stake and purse values, tho Niagara Rncing Association made no mistake in offering several richly endowed feature events, in addition to attractive overnight handicaps nnd purse races. Altogether a total of 0,590 was distributed during the seven days of racing, tho dally average distribution reaching the goodly sum of 2,370. The participation in the racing of such stars of the turf as Sir Barton, Boniface, The Porter and others brought out the largest crowds ever seen at the Fort Erie course, Interest and enthusiasm continuing unabated from start to linisli.
