Won easily; second and third driving. 3CELLE YORKE slipped through on the inside while Hearing the far turn into the lead and, draw-irig away after entering the stretch, was easing up at the end. DR. RAE ran well and easily passed SUSAN M. in the final eighth, but never threatened the winner. SUSAN M. displayed the most early speed, but ran out on the turns and tired in the stretch. CELTIC LASS set a good early pace, but was doing her best at the end to outstay MARJORIE McKAY. MISS DORA began slowly and closed up considerable ground. RUTH MAXIM ran fairly well. REES, suddenly improved and racing within striking distance jof tlie leaders to tlie stretch, moved up gamely and, under a drive, was going away at the end. HARRY GLOAER was much used in racing with DUKE OF WELLINGTON, but hung on better than usual in the final drive. HOPE, shuffled back on the first turnj finished fast through the stretch. PEERLESS ONE came on the outside of the leaders through the stretch and stood a hnrjl drive gamely. DUKE OF WELLINGTON tired in the final eighth after leading to the stretch. MY ROSE showed early speed, but tired in the final eighth and barely lasted to outstay JUDGE BUDROAV. The latter ran well. MADELINE LILLIAN began slowly from the extreme outside and could never get up. TUBBY A. set a fast pace, but quit badly in the last eighth. BREEZE, close up from the start, raced into the lead after rounding the far turn and hung on resolutely in a hard drive through the stretch, but barely lasted long enough to win. BONDAGE began slowly, but came fast when entering the stretch and, finishing gamely, was overhauling the winner at the end. JOUETT raced well to the final eighth, then tired. HONOLULU BOY closed a big gap and finished with a belated rush on the inside. MY DEAR was knocked back on the far turn. REGALO ran a good mile in the lead, then retired to the rear. The latter displayed the most early speed, but tired in the Htrotuli drive. POACHER quit badly in the last quarter.
