FOREIGN STOCK IS COMING Great Stallion Negofol jind Other Thoroughbreds Will Leave .France September 19 on Steamer Royal Prince. The steamer Royal Prince of the Furness Line, which is due to sail from Havre on September 19. will bring a distinguished collection of bloodstock to the port of New York for various American owners. The noted sire Negofbl, which gave to the turf Ilourlcss and other great performers, aiid which is consigned to Xalapa Farm,- having been purchased by Edward F-. Simms recently for a reported price of 50,000, is one of the collection. Joseph E. Widener of Philadelphia has six splendidly tired mares which will join his others in Kentucky. John Sanford will bo represented by three yearlings purchased by himself in the English market, and there will also bo the 5,000 yearling filly by Prince Palatine Frizette, by Hamburg, which was sold to an unknown customer "ft few months ago by the American jockey, Frankie ONeill. It now transpires that the purchaser was the popular steel magnate, J. L. Replogle, who is an intimate friend of several of the most ljrorainent men in racing. Sir. Replogle will be a welcome addition to the ranks of those business men who find recreation in their horses.
